I would like to share with you a unique place. It involves art but it is not a museum - it is a wonderful Art Gallery. It was a decade ago when we understood the concept of the museums and galleries and now we choose our visits more carefully. That is why I wanted to share this gallery with you.
Saatchi Ggallery is the name and it is definitely worth the trip. The gallery is located at Chelsea I think. I'm sorry I don't have photos to add of the neighborhood, but please trust me when I tell you that it is one of the best neighborhoods I have ever visited (lately). Its buildings are long and mostly bright and clear, and all are decorated with arches and columns. The streets are clean, and the people and well presented (if I can say that about people...). On the main road near by - "King Road", you can find all the needed shops - supermarkets, clothing, post office and coffee shops etc.
Apparently, London is full with art galleries and you can see them almost in every corner of every street in the centre of the city. People here are very artistic and with a population of over 7 million people, this industry is well endorsed. If you don't mind I would like to share some pictures with you: (it is allowed to take pictures of the exhibits)
If you get to London and you have some time to spare, you should check out this gallery. It is not as big as a museum (you can finish it in 30 min if you like), but it is interesting and beautiful.
Enjoy
Na'ama
